Clare is the Preschool Manager

I chose to work at Oasis Preschool because I enjoy working with children and their families. While children are young, they are learning, and working in a preschool provides me with the best opportunity to support and help them develop. When I’m not at preschool, I enjoy spending time with my family and taking them to different places. 

Three words to describe me are: Loyal, determined, and hardworking!

Charlette Young

Charlette is the Deputy Manager

I chose to work at Oasis Preschool because I developed a passion for childcare while in school. I have always wanted to pursue midwifery, but as I enjoy childcare, I decided to stick with it. I enjoy seeing different children and helping them learn. When I’m not at preschool, I enjoy participating in Girl Guides, catching up with friends and family, watching TV, and helping St. John Ambulance.

Lesley Strange

Lesley is the Room Leader

I chose to work at Oasis Preschool because it is amazing to watch children play, learn, have fun, and to be a part of their educational development as they grow into their own unique individuals. I hope to bring my 30 years of experience and knowledge to help nurture the children in my care. When I’m not at preschool, I enjoy spending my free time with my grandson and family. I also love to read and enjoy shooting a bow and arrow, as I am a field archery coach and a regular visitor to Costa.

Teri Jackson

Teri is a Preschool Practitioner

I chose to work at Oasis Preschool because I wanted to spend more hours working with children. When I'm not at preschool, I enjoy spending my free time fishing when the weather is nice and spending time with my family.

Michelle Baker

Michelle is a Preschool Practitioner 

I chose to work at Oasis Preschool to be part of a strong, dedicated team that prioritises the children's interests and aims to prepare them for school through challenging and engaging learning experiences. When I’m not at preschool, I enjoy spending time with my family, running with my dogs, and going to the gym.

Kerry Wyatt

Kerry is a Preschool Practitioner 

I chose to work at Oasis Preschool after previously spending three years here. When the opportunity arose to return, I was delighted, as I enjoy working with young children and watching them develop during their time at preschool. Additionally, the team is a pleasure to work with. When I’m not at preschool, I spend a lot of time with my two granddaughters, and I enjoy baking and taking long walks, whether in the forest or along the beach. I also appreciate spending evenings out with friends.

Jodie Osborne

Jodie is a Preschool Practitioner 

I chose to work at Oasis Preschool because I wanted a change from working in a nursery and to join a preschool environment. I aim to help children grow and develop, providing them with the best start to their education. When I’m not at preschool, I enjoy spending time with my daughter, seeing friends and family, and going for walks along the beach or in the forest.

Michaela Jacobs (Kayla)

Kayla is a Preschool Practitioner 

I chose to work at Oasis Preschool because I love teaching children and supporting their academic, social, and personal development. I wanted to make a difference and help shape the lives of the children and their families. Who wouldn't want to work in an environment filled with laughter and learning? I feel a great sense of achievement knowing that I am making a positive impact on a child's life. When I’m not at preschool, I am a mum to three daughters, a wife, and a dog owner. We spend our time together as a family going on outings to the forest or staying in to watch movies and play games. My daughters practice karate, so we also travel frequently to see them compete in tournaments.
